Henry Hugglemonster Toys

Henry Hugglemonster toys are new to the scene for Christmas 2013 because Henry himself only made his debut earlier in the year. Five-year-old Henry the monster’s debut was on April 15, 2013. He was immediately loved by little tikes and their parents, prompting Disney to prepare for the release of a whole line of toys related to Henry Hugglemonster and his adorable, not-so-scary monster family, all scheduled to be released in time for the Christmas 2013 toy shopping lists to be complete.

I'm a Happy Hugglewug - the original Henry Hugglemonster book

I’m a Happy Hugglewug is the book that was the inspiration for the Henry Hugglemonsters TV series for preschoolers.

If you’re wondering where to buy Henry Hugglemonster toys, the best answer is to regularly check Amazon because they are being added to their stock, and most often feature free shipping.

Henry Hugglemonster is a little boy who faces challenges and opportunities in his day-to-day monster life. Whereas a lot of Disney series have family members that do appear on the peripheral, Henry’s family has been integral to the storyline of every episode to date. Older siblings Cobby and Summer, along with little baby monster Ivor, Momma, and Daddo take a key role in each week’s escapades.

With Henry being a kindergarten-aged little fellow himself, he is very relatable to the preschool and early elementary-aged set. His energy and interactions with his family are charming and fun for kids to follow. Henry is the offspring of two parental monsters, a mom and dad who guide him on his path, and is the middle child with a big monster brother and a little monster sister. Denzel Dugglemonster is Henry’s best friend. He has scoops for hands and participates in a lot of Henry’s adventures.

Why We Love Henry Hugglemonster

Henry Hugglemonster demonstrates a loving relationship with his family and the stories guide little ones to make good decisions and treat each other kindly; we always love shows that teach our children the good behaviors they should be demonstrating in life.

Henry Hugglemonster episodes on Amazon

Episodes of Henry Hugglemonster are available on Amazon.

Parents may feel a smidge reminiscent when they realize that Geri Halliwell of Spice Girls voices Isabella Roarsome, a pop princess. The voice talent in the whole show is really well-cast and helps make watching cartoons over and over again a lot more tolerable; this show lacks the screechy-obnoxious tones found in so many other shows geared at the young crows. Also, Henry and his family are all engaging characters that are easy to like.

Why Kids Love Henry Hugglemonster

Henry Hugglemonster has been really well received by both boys and girls in the toddler and preschool set. Also, the show cast great, energetic voice talent, which does an excellent job roping in those little tikes with short attention spans. The monsters’ bright colors, silly features, and otherwise charismatic features go a long way towards entertaining kids and triggering their imaginations. Also, the stories typically all relate back to family and Henry’s interactions with his family members, so they are tales that kids can relate to.

The Henry Hugglemonster theme song is also a catchy little tune – my preschooler has danced to it ever since the first time she heard it, and I’ll also catch her humming the theme song from time to time throughout the day.

Henry Hugglemonster Toys for Christmas 2013

Obviously Disney Hoped for Henry Hugglemonster’s popularity to do exactly what it did – skyrocket as soon as kids were familiar with the characters – so they have planned the launch of a line of Henry Hugglemonster toys. Some of the newly-released merchandise is expected to make it on the list of top Christmas toys 2013.

First off, Henry Hugglemonster and his little monster pals will be available as stuffed Disney plush dolls. The bright coloring and silly features lend themselves perfectly to stuffed animals; these will be some characters I won’t mind adding to my daughter’s collection at all. They are expected to release the dolls in different sizes, just like they do with a lot of the other Disney plush characters. We’re hoping the fun details will carryover well to the plush dolls just like the stuffed versions of the Monsters, Inc. gang – the fluffy, bright blue Sully is one of my favorite stuffed toys that Disney has ever produced – they completely nailed his expression and captured his personality.

Harry’s friend Denzel Dugglemonster and his scoop hands is also the perfect personality to lend to upcoming toy releases. There are expected to be some interactive toys featuring both Henry and Denzel. Rumor has it that there may even be a talking Henry Hugglemonster toy, and possibly a talking Denzel Dugglemonster to go with him.

Before any Henry Hugglemonster toys hit the market, earlier fans could pick up a copy of the book I Am A Happy Hugglewug, which was actually the book that inspired the show. It is still available on Amazon with a good price and free shipping, thought it may sell out as the show gains momentum.

Where to Buy Henry Hugglemonster Toys

We’ll update this article as we get closer to Christmas 2013 to showcase all of the Henry Hugglemonster products. We recommend purchasing Henry Hugglemonster toys from Amazon for several reasons. First, Amazon always has a great selection of toys associated with Disney Junior shows, and Henry will be no exception. They also normally have the best price (I comparison shop all the time and always end up coming back to Amazon) and they offer free shipping on most of the items in the toy department. When I’m shopping for little ones I always love it when just the right thing magically appears on my doorstep without me having to so much as leave my house, especially if I otherwise would have had a toddler or preschooler in tow while I was braving the toy aisle.

You can also search on Amazon to see the other Disney Junior merchandise available; Henry Hugglemonster fans also like a lot of the other preschool TV shows in the lineup. Both girls and boys have taken a strong liking to newcomers like Doc McStuffins, Sophia the First (such a pretty little princess!), and Jake and the Neverland Pirates, as well as the more seasoned shows like Handy Manny and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. Since each of those shows has been out for longer, they have a complete line of merchandise associated with them, including some really unique toys for Christmas 2013. The Doc McStuffins doll is expected to be even more popular in 2013 than it was in 2012, and Jake and the Neverland Pirates toys continue to surge in popularity as well.
